There are several reasons the pomodoro technique is so successful at improving productivity.
It protects you from getting burnt out through taking regular breaks.
It helps you focus by breaking time into much smaller and more easily digestible chunks.
It allows you to set realistic goals for what is achievable in your day by assigning sessions to your to-do list.
It teaches you to manage distractions and interruptions better.
